My name is Shaun Fraser, and my journey with opals began as a heartfelt quest to find the perfect gift for asking my girlfriend at the time to become my fiancée as I asked her to marry me. As a romantic at heart and someone born in October, I was naturally drawn to opals, the birthstone for my month. Their unique beauty and the deep fascination my love had for them made the search feel both meaningful and personal.

Finding the right opal was no easy task. The journey was challenging, but I was determined. I believed the opal was the perfect stone to symbolize our love—its vibrant colors and unique patterns reflected the depth and diversity of our relationship.

My intentions were never to start supplying opals or creating jewelry pieces to sell. It all began when I bought my first opal to propose to my girlfriend at the time. However, I soon found myself captivated by these gemstones and felt the need to source more and more. This passion has now led me to build a website to showcase and sell the collection I’ve sourced from all over, including Ethiopian opals, Australian opals, tourmalines, emeralds, moonstones, and a few other gems.
